WING LUKE ELEMENTARY - WA

Wing Luke Elementary

The “Wing Luke Elementary” Project

The outdoor lighting design for Wing Luke Elementary focuses on safety and a modern aesthetic that complements the building’s colorful facade. The main element of the system is minimalist, black column luminaires with a geometric “L” shape, which provide precise lighting for pedestrian walkways and the entrance area.

Key features of the installation:

Integration with Architecture: The simple, black design of the pole contrasts with the red and yellow facade panels, emphasizing the school’s modern character.

Safety and Functionality: The luminaires were positioned to evenly illuminate sidewalks and playgrounds, which is crucial during morning and evening outdoor activities.

Efficiency: The use of LED technology allows for a significant reduction in energy consumption while maintaining high-quality light that aids spatial orientation.

Scalability: The luminaire system can be supplemented with various size variants, depending on the needs of a specific area.
