T.B. McQuesten Park
The “T.B. McQuesten Park” Project
This project is an example of monumental lighting that serves as a representative entrance to a city park. The luminaires were designed in a style that echoes classic park aesthetics, blending seamlessly with the park’s street furniture.
Characteristics and Design:
Classic pedestal form: The luminaires, shaped like stylized lanterns, are mounted on solid concrete pedestals with a texture resembling stone blocks.
Unique color scheme: The luminaire’s structural elements are finished in a distinctive mint green shade, which harmonizes with the park’s natural surroundings and the metal information signs.
Architectural details: The lamp body features decorative grooves and a multi-tiered base, giving the entire structure a sculptural character.
Integrated signage: The lighting system is an integral part of the “T.B. McQuesten Park” welcome gate, marking the boundaries of the site and facilitating orientation after dark.
Even light distribution: The large, frosted shade panels provide soft light diffusion, ensuring visual comfort and aesthetic illumination of the entrance without glare.
