The “MEEKER” Project

This installation features a versatile outdoor lighting system that combines a classic design inspired by traditional lanterns with modern LED technology. The luminaires feature wide, dark shades shaped like flattened bells, which effectively direct the light beam downward.

Technical and aesthetic characteristics:

Versatile installation: The system allows for the installation of both single luminaires on tall poles and dual arrangements on a single pole, which is ideal for illuminating wide urban thoroughfares and adjacent sidewalks.

Integration with infrastructure: The lighting poles have been designed to perform additional functional roles, you can see them being used as supports for advertising banners and city signage.

Glare protection: Thanks to the light source being deeply recessed within the shade, the luminaires minimize glare for drivers and pedestrians, as seen in the example of road lighting.

Adaptability: The support structure with a dark, matte finish, fits perfectly into modern residential architecture as well as green spaces and sports facilities.
