Hamilton Waterfront
The “Discovery Waterfront” Project
The lighting installation features a system of park fixtures with a nautical design that blends seamlessly into the waterfront landscape and the modern architecture of the educational and tourist centers.
Characteristics and Aesthetics:
“Nautical” style: The luminaires feature a shade enclosed in a metal cage, reminiscent of traditional ship and harbor lamps.
“Gooseneck” arms: The lamps are mounted on arched arms, giving them a classic yet lightweight appearance.
Multifunctional design: The slender, silver poles serve not only as light fixtures but also as flagpoles and mounts for informational and advertising banners.
Integration with infrastructure: The lighting system is consistent with urban signage elements, such as “Trolley Stop” signs.
Harmony with the surroundings: The light color scheme of the poles and luminaires perfectly complements the gray safety railings, natural greenery, and rocky waterfront.
The solution combines technical reliability with decorative detail, creating a safe and atmospheric walking area along the waterfront.
