BAY STREET HAMILTON - ON

BAY STREET HAMILTON - ON

Project: “Bay Street Hamilton”

Location: Ontario, Canada

Concept and Design

The design focuses on maximum reduction of form. The luminaire extends from the mast, creating a uniform, slender line without a clearly separated head. The bend in the upper part of the mast is gentle, giving the structure an organic, almost plant-like character that blends perfectly with the surrounding vegetation and the open expanse of the ocean.

Functionality and Technology

Integration: The luminaire is fully integrated with the mast arm, which reduces the number of mechanical connections and increases resistance to vibrations and strong gusts of wind from the ocean.

Optics: A linear LED module is used, generating a wide light distribution, optimal for illuminating long stretches of bike paths and pedestrian walkways with fewer light points.

Material: The structure is made of lightweight alloys and finished in light gray, making it nearly invisible against the backdrop of the sky and urban buildings.
